Dance Class

With all the excitement on Monday I completely forgot to post a blog to let you know how it went...Thanks Rose for reminding me tonight!!

Isabelle and I have been taking Mommy and Me dance classes on Monday nights... It is defiantly my favorite night of the week, as I am sure it is hers! There are two other little girls and their moms in our class. On Monday night we had our very first open house recital to show our family and friends what we have been up to this Summer. Freddie came to watch and cheer us on!

We started with our warm up....Stretching and making rainbows...

Then we did our butterfly dance we have been practicing since day one. Isabelle has it down perfect!

Then we had a medley of other dances we have learned throughout the last 6 weeks.

After the class we celebrated together with a little party!

We signed up for the fall session , starts September 10Th and is 14 weeks long... We can't wait!!

Getting Out of The House...

This week we have been having our house worked on....so Isabelle and I were home all week. When the weekend came we were ready to get out of the house! Perfect timing... the California State Fair opened this weekend. We had a blast! We saw mutton bustin and sky divers...we were so surprised at how far away she could pick out the sky divers... she loved the lights and noise of the people on the rides... and her favorite part was taking turns going down the giant slide with mommy and daddy!!

Today is the last day of Isabelle's first round of dance classes...we have a special recital tonight...daddy will be taking video...so stay tuned later this week!!

Special Birthday Greeting!

Today is my (DeAnna) Grandma's birthday. I have been teaching Isabelle how to sing Happy Birthday and was trying to get her to sing to my Grandma when we saw her last week and she wouldn't. I even tried to get her to sing to her on the phone today, not much luck! She has been singing the song all day so I caught it on tape! Here is your special birthday song Grandma!

Hot August Nights

This weekend we took a trip up to Reno to see the cars at Hot August Nights... Something Freddie and I have really wanted to do.

My Mom made Isabelle a cute little poodle skirt...everyone thought that she was the cutest little girl ever! I found a pink T-Bird and was super excited to get a picture of her next to it.

Isabelle loved the cars...especially since Cars is her current favorite movie...all the cars we "lightning McQueen" to her. She didn't get it that she wasn't allowed to touch them and was real frustrated at times. She wanted to get real close and even get in some of them.

Her favorite part was the "Cruise" (parade) She was getting a little fussy from being out all day and we had to wait for a long time to get a good seat... once the cars started coming down the street she jumped into her stroller and stayed put for over and hour. She loved waving at the cars and the loader they were the happier she got!! It was so much fun! Both Freddie and I really enjoyed it!!

Mommy's Girl

Isabelle is such a girlie girl! She loves her shoes... (Like her Mommy) She has to be forced to wear her regular shoes... As soon as she can she usually goes for a pair of her heal... She wears them to the mail box..pushing her baby stroller...usually with one of my purses on her shoulder and really anywhere else she can get away with. Tonight we caught her lining them up next to the window...

She also loves to wear my glasses!! Just too cute!!
