Backyard Movie Night

We hosted a backyard movie night, purchased a little projector and served up some popcorn and candy.  It was a nice evening, good company and an all around good family night. 

We can't wait to do it again next year. 

 So excited to have some of my best friends in one place at the same time.

13 Years

 For our Anniversary we went to the CA state Fair as a family.  The Fair was EMPTY.  We let the kids play a couple games and ride a few rides.  They were practically giving away the chance to play games and Isabelle even rode the swings all by herself.  For dessert we had funnel cake of course!

Happy Birthday Issy!

Nine. It happened so fast. She is the sunshine in our day and makes our lives richer. 

Happy Birthday Issy, we love you more than breakfast!

All she wanted to do was spend the day in her Kayak.  So we packed a picnic and did just that! 

4th of July

Our 4th of July didn't go as planned... we started with a plan to spend the day at Raging Waters and then stay and catch the fireworks show after at Cal Expo.  

A couple hours after we got to Raging Waters a grass fire broke out and we all slowly watched the smoke grow bigger and bigger. Until they evacuated us.  

We quickly decided to go home clean up and pack a picnic and head to Elk Grove park to enjoy the fireworks there. 

While at the park we ran into more friends.  The more the merrier!

The next day the girls enjoyed playing with sparklers that we forgot to set off the day before. 

Room Makeover

On the last day of school the girls left for a few days to go on a little vacation with Grandma and Grandpa G.  While they were away Freddie and I along with our friends Tennille and Jeff frantically worked hard to paint Isabelle's room to surprise her when she got home.  We couldn't leave Calista out, so we put up some decorations in her room too.  Isabelle's room needed a fresh coat of paint and the windows needed fixing.  It was so fun to give her room and update!
