A Cinderella Moment...

Isabelle is totally into dress up as we all know. She often entertains herself by pretending to be doing lots of different things. Today while wearing her Cinderella dress, I over heard her pretending to be Cinderella. I quickly grabbed my camera and caught just one picture before she got embarrassed.

Our Weekend...

We had a great Memorial Day weekend! The weather was perfect, nice and cool! We BBQ'd twice over the weekend and even attended a BBQ on Monday night.

We also had a visit from Grandma and Grandpa G (Freddie's Parents) Isabelle really enjoyed playing with them both!! Here are a couple of pictures from their visit.

Our Little Princess...

Today Isabelle and I went out to take some fun photographs of her at a park. She just got the cutest new skirt and I couldn't wait to photograph her in it. She absolutely LOVES the skirt and begged me to let her stay in it!! She was even worried about getting it dirty! She kept telling me that she was a princess, and I couldn't have agreed with her more, she is our little princess!!

It's HOT!!

I'm not sure what the official high was today, but when we were driving home from the Bay Area this afternoon a sign in Elk Grove read 103 degrees!! We immediately turned on the AC after walking in to the house it was literally a sauna inside!

After Isabelle woke up from a late nap we took her out to play in her pool. She had so much fun! Freddie put the slide in the pool and she had a blast making splashes!

This morning we drove out to the Bay Area. Freddie and Isabelle dropped me off in Pleasanton where I attended a baby shower for my High School friend Jona and he and Issy went to Milpitas to visit with Grandma & Grandpa G and Auntie Sarah and Gabe. It was much cooler in the Bay Area but still toasty!

A Visit With Nana & Grandmama...

This week my Grandma (Grandmama) and Mom (Nana) came for a visit, my Grandma lives in Oregon. It was great to spend some time with her, we only get to see her once a year. She was worried that Isabelle wouldn't remember her, but Isabelle didn't forget her. She spent a lot of the time showing off and being silly. Here are some pictures from the visit.

A Calista Update

I am 27 weeks pregnant this week!!

My belly is finally popping out! At our last appointment Calista's growth had increased and she is catching up! Which is great news!

I was reading in my Pregnancy book that at this point in the pregnancy the baby can tell the difference between light and dark, when my belly is outside exposed to the sun or inside where it is dark. I think that is fascinating.

Freddie took my picture last week to show my growing belly and Isabelle jumped right in and posed along with me. She thinks there is a baby in her belly too.

Being a Mom has been the most amazing Job I have ever done! It has also been the hardest job I have ever done. But I wouldn't trade it for the world!

Sunday Happenings...

We haves lots of ladybugs in our backyard and had fun watching and playing with them this afternoon.
Freddie made Isabelle a balance beam for the backyard. He decided he wanted to make one for her after she literally walked on every curb around the church parking lot today. She will generally walk on the curbs like a balance beam whenever she can. She really enjoyed the beam and played for quite a long time on it tonight.

Freddie also bought Isabelle a canopy for her bed this weekend. Isabelle LOVES it and calls it her Princess bed.


I spray painted an old table for Isabelle's room so that she could have a place to have tea party's whenever she wanted....
...a little while later I heard her and Daddy having a tea party and quickly snuck a picture before I got caught. Aren't they cute!! What a great Daddy she has!
