We are so proud of our girls, they both earned student of the month in January and February.
I am so pleased to recognize Isabelle Gallardo as Student of the Month. Isabelle treats everyone, and everything at school with respect. She willingly partners with her classmates to work on math flashcards, vocabulary, reading etc. Isabelle is also respectful of her, and the rest of the class's learning time. She is engaged in direct instruction, asks for help if she needs it, and is mindful of other students' right to learn. Isabelle politely interacts with both adults and peers, using "Please" and "Thank you" in her conversations. She is also respectful of school property. It is a pleasure to have sweet Isabelle in my class.
Calista's note from her teacher...
This month's award goes to Calista Gallardo because she is respectful. She speaks to classmates with words that are kind and considerate. Calista is not bossy and has many friends in class because she treats people nicely. If her classmates are getting an award she is a good sport and she does not pout. She is happy for them and tells them "good job". She is respectful of class supplies and does not stick the pencil tip into the erasers. Calista remembers to say please an thank you and does not interrupt when other people are talking. She waits patiently for it to be her turn and is very considerate. Calista we are very proud of you and you are our role model for being respectful.
