Royal Wedding

Last night I asked Isabelle if she would like to go to bed early and wake up early and watch a real princess get married. She said yes, of course. She went to bed at 7PM without a peep. I woke her this morning at 5AM and she ran out of her room to the TV and we enjoyed watching the Royal Wedding together. We talked about all the hats, the long walk down the isle and all the details of the wedding. Isabelle asked me at one point, "What is with this creepy music?" I laughed! I told Isabelle that Daddy and I had been to both Westminster Abbey and Buckingham Palace. She got a kick out of that.

She loved the wedding and I loved sharing it with her.

Easter Sunday

On Easter Sunday, we had intentions of getting up early and going to our church's sunrise service, but we woke up late. The girls were excited to see that the Easter Bunny had arrived and were eager to find all the eggs he had hidden. Isabelle was spotting them faster than Calista, but she was very sweet passing eggs up or stepping back to allow her sister to get some. Isabelle immediately spotted that the bunnies tail had gotten caught in the door. They both got a kick out of that. The girls spent a little time going through their baskets and then we were out the door for church. After church we headed to the Adamson's house for lunch. Lunch was amazing and the kids had a blast hunting for more eggs. It was a great day!

Excited about their Easter basket goodies!

The Day Before Easter

Saturday morning as soon as Isabelle came down the stairs she noticed we had a visitor. Elfie had come back! He left a note, telling them he missed them and wanted to come and show the Easter Bunny where all the good hiding spots were in the house. They loved it and talked about him all morning.

Our good friends the Vavak's came to spend the day with us. We had a yummy lunch and color Easter eggs.

We started with 5 dozen white eggs....
Calista was excited to get in on the coloring, she had a blast just dumping eggs into the different colors.

Ralph showed us that we can use our regular crayons to color on the eggs before dying. So cool!

Even baby Rhyden got in on the fun.
See all the eggs in the cups.... Calista did that!
After...
After lunch we all took turns reading through the Easter story from the bible with the help of our Resurrection Eggs. Each egg had a different item in it to help tell the story.

Then it was time for dessert, Cake pops!

Isabelle adores Eathan because he is so silly!

Another fun day in the books and two very excited girls ready for Easter!

Easter Card 2011

The best part about having two little girls, is finding adorable lace ruffled dresses, making cute felt flowers for their hair and taking them to a mustard field at sunset. Here is our Easter card this year and some of the adorable photos I took recently. I absolutely love these photos and the cute little girls in them!

Happy Easter!

Cake Pops

My friend Sarah and I made cake pops for Isabelle and Audrey's class to celebrate Easter. Although the kids weren't allowed to have an Easter party, LAME, Mrs. Gravert allowed me to bring a treat in celebration of Spring.

We made these cute little chicks and the kids loved them. I barley had enough time to pass them out before they were gone.

Fun With Family!

This weekend we went to Valley Springs to take photos of Freddie's cousin and her family and play around on their ranch. Calista was in horsey heaven, Isabelle was happy to run around with her cousins exploring. We also rode on ATV's and dirt bikes. It was a fun afternoon!

Chel and Issy sharing secrets...
Already for a fun ride!
Freddie excited to be back on a bike!

Giants Vs. St. Louis Cardinals

Sunday after the MMRF race we made our way to AT&T park to watch a baseball game with my brother and his wife. The girls were excited to spend time with them, we haven't seen them since their wedding in October. Uncle Garrett is a huge Giant's fan, so he was super excited to share this experience with the girls.

We parked and nearly had to sale Isabelle to pay for the spot, we found our way to our seats where Uncle Garrett was eagerly waiting for us with a bag of goodies for the girls, let the spoiling begin!

Garrett got Isabelle a new Giant's shirt and since we found a super cute Giants dress for Calista at Target he got her a panda hat. Isabelle was excited to have a new shirt! (She even wore it to school the next day!)

The girls did great, Calista was cracking us up, she really loved the crowd and how excited everyone got. She clapped and cheered and even pounded her little feet along with the crowd. Everyone sitting around us loved her too. We watched the game for a while and then decided to take the girls around to explore. Uncle Garrett told us there was a build a bear in the park so the girls brought their bears from home and he let them pick out a new Giant's outfit for their bears. We then grabbed some over priced nachos and a soda and made our way back to our seats.

Isabelle sat on Garrett's lap the entire game, he was great explaining the game to her and just enjoying having her there. He decided that it was to hot and the girls needed ice cream, so off they went to get some ice cream. Uncle of the year!

Towards the end of the game, the Giant's were loosing and the crowd was getting wild we took the girls on the giant slide in the Coca-cola bottle. They loved that! We didn't know you couldn't take your child down the slide with you, so I decided to go first and then Freddie was going to go behind Calista, He let her go and we heard her scream, I thought she was going to freak out, but she was screaming with delight, it was pretty funny!

Even though the Giant's lost and some of our favorite players didn't play that day, we all had a great time. We can't wait to go again! Calista feel asleep in my arms on the walk back to our car and Isabelle was a sleep by the time we were on the freeway. They both loved it and did great!

Buster Posey is my favorite player, he is the catcher of the team and he was being honored at our game for relieving rookie of the year!
Our seats, we sat in the bleachers, they actually weren't bad at all!
Thanks Uncle Garrett and Auntie Cassandra for a fun afternoon at the Giant's game!!!
