Mommy's Birthday!

 For my Birthday, Freddie surprised me by taking the day off and taking us to the beach.  Isabelle was still off track so it was perfect.  We went to my favorite beach and lounged for several hours.  It was the perfect temperature and the girls had a wonderful time playing in the water and sand.  We had Pizza My Heart for lunch and yummy Gayle's for dinner.  I couldn't have asked for a better day.

Easter Morning

Our church has an Easter service on Saturday evening and 3 Sunday morning... For the last few years we have opted to go to the Saturday evening service, we love it.  We get to Celebrate Jesus's resurrection and have a nice quiet Easter Sunday morning with the girls.  Calista was up first and could barley wait for Issy to get up.  The joy and excitement on their faces is so much fun.  They loved finding bunny prints all over the floor and finding eggs all over our house.  We had a yummy breakfast and a peaceful morning together.

Thunder and Lighting...

The night before Easter we had the most amazing thunder and lightening.  It shook the entire house.  Everyone was asleep but me, I was making sure that the Easter bunny got his job done...  I turned off all the lights and grabbed my camera.  I have never tried to photograph lightening before.  It was a lot harder than I thought... I couldn't find my mount for my tripod so I had to use a mono-pod and I couldn't hold the camera still, which of course is the main purpose...Anyway it was cool and I enjoyed watching the storm pass.

Mommy & Me Weekend.

This weekend Issy and I were invited to a Mommy & Me weekend to celebrate two of her sweet friends.  Both Chloe and Audrey had Birthdays this month and instead of a Birthday party their Mom's decided to take the girls to the American Girl store and cafe and invited Isabelle as their guest. It was an opportunity we couldn't pass up.

First Course...

The main course... Here are a couple of the girls lunches, The Mom's food was perfect too.  I had a yummy pasta dish.

Each girl got a goodie bag filled with treats for their dolls including a balloon, doll outfit and more.

After the wonderful lunch at the cafe we headed to our awesome hotel and took the kids swimming.  Which of course they LOVED! 

When we got back to our room Jessica set up a nail bar and painted the girls nails and we tucked them into their sleeping bags and out they went!  

The next morning we got up, check out of our hotel and took the girls for a trip down Rodeo Drive, we had too, it was literally right down the street from our hotel.  Then it was off to Santa Monica beach for a few hours of some fun in the sun before packing it up and heading home.  What a wonderful weekend!
