Winter Camp

My last Winter Camp with my High School Bible Study group.  4 years went by so quick!  We had a blast at our last Winter Camp.  The weather was amazing and so fun to play in the snow.  The New Year's Eve party was Disney themed.  I went as Darla from Finding Nemo, since she wore braces.  I was a judge for the annual talent show and had so much fun playing the role as Darla.  The kids and other counselors loved Darla.  So sad to see this season come to a close, but so grateful for the time I had we these girls.

Halloween

Halloween we went simple this year,  we went online and I let the girls pick whatever they wanted.  Calista, no surprise chose Elsa from the movie Frozen.  Isabelle chose a beautiful jewel toned peacock.

We couldn't leave Bruiser out, the girls picked a hot dog costume for Bruiser at Target.

On Halloween night our friends the Gemignani's joined us for dinner, then it was off to the church for the annual carnival.  We grabbed some quick photos in our backyard before we left.  It rained that day so I left my camera at home.

Tennille and I went as witches.
Freddie went as a Ninja Turtle.

Ardent Magazine

Last October (2013) Freddie and I got to be models for a friend who was wanting to do a styled shoot for her photography business.  Her goal was to get the images published.  This October 2014, a few of the images were selected to be published in a new complementary magazine for the Elk Grove area.  It was a huge honor to find out that one of the images made the cover of the very first issue. They printed 25,000 and were in many businesses in Elk Grove.

Here are some screen shots of the inside of the magazine.

Welcome Home Bruiser

We brought home a sweet Shih Tzu puppy we named Bruiser on October 17th.

He is very loving and loyal.  He never leaves our side. Wherever we go he follows.  He is quiet and barley barks unless we leave him.  He loves to be held and enjoys riding in the car.

And of course he is a Giants fan!

Vavak Wedding

The morning of the big day we took Rhyden and the girls so Sam could get ready.  We had lunch in town and killed some time.  We got all the little girls ready and headed to the Ceremony site for photos.

Isabelle and Calista were the ushers and greeters.  The greeted the guests and handed them water and the beautiful programs Cryssi made. They LOVED having a job and took it very seriously!

We took our seats in the beautiful homemade pews Eathan and Ralph made.  I love watching the groom as he watches his bride walk towards him.
 Cryssi looked so beautiful.

It was a beautiful wedding, filled with so much love, worship and a beautiful sermon.  It was perfect!

Then it was off to the rehearsal site, for some amazing food, the best speeches I have ever heard at a wedding, lots of dancing and smores!

The girls all did great but after our favorite song played "Shake it off"  It was time to take all the little girls back to the hotel for some rest.  We left with full hearts and wonderful memories.  So proud of Eathan and Crystina and so excited to watch them on their journey together as husband and wife.
