Insta Valentine's Day

Ever since Freddie and I were dating we have always made home made Valentine's for each other.  This year I had fun collecting ideas on Pinterest for my Valentine's.  Freddie's favorite candy are Rolos and I found a cute idea to make a bomb Valentine out of Rolos.  It is kind of perfect cause we are currently addicted to the show Burn Notice and they use a lot of C4 in that show....    I made a puppy for Calista and a butterfly for Issy.  The girls enjoyed their home made Valentine's.  Isabelle had a great time going through all her Valentine's from her classmates and even a few of her friends had Valentine's for Calista, so sweet!  Calista has her Valentine party at school on Friday.

Classroom Valentine's

Homemade Valentine's are the best!  I recreated a few ideas we saw when looking up ideas for Valentine's in photoshop and printed them.  Calista wanted to add a pencil to her Valentine's.  Isabelle enjoyed gluing wiggly eyes on to her fun Valentine.  We had a fun time assembling them.  They can't wait to pass them our to thier friends next week.

Here are the Valentine's we made for the girls teachers.  They say, we need s'more teachers like you.  Love them!

Valentine's Tea

This past weekend the girls and I hosted a Valentine's Tea Party.  They invited a few friend along with their dolls. We had tea (pink lemon aid) served in real tea cups, which they all really enjoyed.  Heart shaped sandwiches, fruit, and blueberry muffins.  We played a Valentine's game, decorated heart shaped cookies and made Valentines. We had 12 girls including Issy and Calista and they were all very polite, it was so much fun!  Can't wait to do it again!

Each girl got their own tea cup and a tea cup for their doll.

My friends Natalie and Jennipher came to help me serve the girls so that the Mommy's could go have a couple of hours to themselves.  Our friend Bethany came too and helped the girls with the crafts and games.

Student Of The Month

This morning Isabelle woke up and Daddy was home... The wheels were turning in her head and she must of thought of a hundred different excuses to stay home from school today to play with Daddy.   We got dressed and ready early and Daddy took us to Starbucks for a special treat.  I also told Isabelle she was going to get hot lunch today.   Finally she said, what is going on?    I told her it was a special day...  In line at school she started to complain that her tummy hurt and she wanted to go home,  I finally had to tell her something to keep her at school.  I told her I didn't want to spoil the surprise but Mommy and Daddy were at school to celebrate her and she would find out in a few minutes....  She went into class with a smile and we went to the multipurpose room to find good seats for the assembly.

Mrs. Beata the Vice Principal gave Isabelle her award and read a letter written about Isabelle from her teacher Mrs. Giddens.

Isabelle is truly a joy to have in class because of her respectful attitude towards adults and classmates.  She uses polite and kind words.  She listens to others and waits her turn to speak.  She is patient and doesn't race to be first in line.  She also takes excellent care of the classroom books and materials.  Isabelle uses good manners and always says thank you, especially when she receives a book or paper from a classmate who is passing out materials.  Most of all, she cooperates with others and treats them in the way that she would like others to treat her. It is my pleasure to give this months's award for respect to Isabelle.

We are so proud of you Isabelle!

Thanks to my sweet friend Rose who came to celebrate Issy getting her reward, you are a good friend!
