Last Day of Second Grade

Second grade was by far the best school year yet!  Issy loved second grade and loved her teacher even more!  As bummed as we are for school to be out and moving on from the best teacher ever, we are super excited about summer vacation!!

What better way to to celebrate than with confetti!

Father's Day

So deeply thankful for him. For them. For this life together.

Happy Father's Day Love.  You are the perfect Daddy for our little girls!!

We took the above pictures earlier in the week so I could use them for a project I was working on for Freddie.  I just used the excuse that the girls needed updated photos with Daddy...

On Father's Day Isabelle and I made Daddy breakfast in bed all his requests.  While Calista snuggled with Daddy. Then it was off to Church and lunch at Chipotle.   We had so much fun golfing last month that Freddie wanted to do it again on Father's Day so off we went to Golfland.  Freddie and Isabelle did a few rounds of laser tag before we started golfing.  The girls really have the hang of mini golfing and Isabelle did great with no help from us.  Calista needed a little help on the hard ones but overall she did great! Freddie and I got real competitive and in the end we tied.  We ended the day with dinner at home together, and a  movie.  Happy Father's Day Freddie.  We love you.

Father's Day Gift

When Isabelle was four we took pictures of her in Freddie's work clothes as a Father's Day gift.  He loves it and it sits on his desk at work.  Even though he doesn't work on cars anymore or for FORD, he loves that photo of Isabelle.  So of course I had to recreate it with Calista and her one request that puppy be in the photo and we don't put "grease" on puppy.  Ha Ha.

Such a cutie!

And for fun, a couple of Issy in 2010

Happy Father's Day Weekend Freddie!

Memorial Day

For Memorial Day weekend we went camping at Manressa Beach with our buddies the Adamson's  It was a beautiful campsite, right next to the beach.   The weather was perfect and the sunsets were amazing.   We spent the days at Capitol beach, the kids boogie boarded and played in the sand. We spent the evenings watching the sunset back at camp.  One night we even had a bonfire on the beach.

 Isabelle loved the boogie boarding.

Calista was in heaven playing in the sand.

Freddie and I had a chance to even try out paddle boarding.  We loved it!

Our last evening the kids put on a talent show for us that they practiced all weekend for.

All and all it was a great weekend and we are so thankful for a nice relaxing time together.
