We bought season passes to Six Flags last summer. We found out they were good for entry into all of the Six Flag theme park so we decided to take a trip down to Magic Mountain with our friends the Philkill Family. Since we were so close to the Reagan Presidential Library we had to make a stop there too.
We all piled into one care and drove straight to the Presidential Library on Friday morning. We got there just in time for lunch. The grounds of the Library were so beautiful and the views were stunning. We spent about 4 hours inside the library and the kids did great! We were all so glad we came it was defiantly a huge hit!
There we many interactive things to do. This was a favorite for the kids. A room set up for an inauguration speech. Complete with teleprompter and actual presidential podium and of course cameras!
The real Air Force ! It was the actual plane President Reagan flew in and we got to go inside. It looked exactly like the 80's
A replica of the Oval office designed to look exactly the way it did when Reagan was in office.
An actual piece of the Berlin Wall.
Saturday it was a day at Magic Mountain!
The very first ride was a water ride! I offered to hold the bags and I am glad I did. These fools were wet all day!
Me and Kiki getting ready to ride a boat ride!
Issy and I on a roller coaster!
The roller coasters at this park were intense! Isabelle wanted to ride the Superman ride. It goes from 0-100MPH in seconds straight up and drops you down. The entire ride lasts 10 seconds. NO thank you! I am glad our friend Michael is a thrill seeker too!
By 7pm time we were hot and hungry and ready for something other than theme park food. We decided to leave the park and head to Universal City walk which was close to our hotel.
On Sunday we went to Malibu and spent the day on the beach!
On our way home we drove home on the CA 1 and enjoyed the beautiful coast. We made a stop in Solvang and enjoyed exploring this adorable town!
