Vacation With Grandma & Grandpa G

 The girls got to go on a little vacation with Grandma and Grandpa G this summer.  They left our house and headed down to Lake Isabella to visit Grandma's cousins.  

 The girls had a great time with Genesis. 

 Then they got in the car and headed back up to Yosemite for a couple days.  The girls LOVE Yosemite.

Thank you Grandma and Grandpa G for a wonderful trip where great memories were made!  

Freddie's Birthday

This year Freddie parents picked up the girls the day before Freddie's Birthday for a road trip, leaving us kid free for his Birthday.  Before they left they took us to Texas Road House to celebrate his birthday.

On his actual Birthday he wanted to see the new Transformers movie, in 3D and DBox seats.  It was quite the experience.

 On Sunday we went to the city of Davis to explore and eat at his favorite Thai restaurant. 

 We spent hours in all the used book stores and there was even a music store with tons of old records, it was fun to go through them.

 Then it was time for a delicious dinner! 

 We walked around Davis' Central Park after dinner because we couldn't leave without enjoying a Birthday Crepe. 

YUMMY!

 I'd say it was the perfect weekend for this Birthday Boy!

Last Day of School

What a difference a year makes...

Calista was so nervous the first day of Kindergarten, and it totally shows in this photo.  I love how the last day of school you can see her confidence.   

I think out of all the first and last day of school photos I have taken, this is by far the biggest change I have seen in Isabelle.  She is growing up way to quickly! 

Kindergarten Graduation

 Calista's Kinder class hosted a fun Hawaiian themed Graduation concert.  They sang songs and danced, it was of course ADORABLE!

Kinder Friends

 Calista made some sweet friends this year in Kindergarten.  It was fun to watch her make friends of her own.  We had many playdates at our house.  The last week of school Calista's friend Simone hosted a fun tea party.  Here are some of the photos her mom took.  

Issy's Molar

Isabelle was having some tooth pain so we took her to the dentist.  We discovered that she had an impacted tooth.  The new tooth was putting pressure on the baby tooth, but it looked like it was going to be a while before the baby tooth was ready to come out.  So they suggested pulling her tooth to relieve the pain.  It was a quick procedure and she was super brave.  The baby tooth still had the roots attached to it, which is very cool and made for lots of interesting conversation.
